Drawing is an illustration of the reference piece. Your shop drawing shows your size, base position, chair clearance and the slab layout, and is the version the workshop cuts from.

Vale is made to order like everything we build. Every option you pick goes onto the drawing you approve; bases separate from the top for stairs and lifts.

Calacatta Viola changes from block to block. We send photos of the actual slabs available, dry and wet, front and back, with any filled cracks marked. You choose one, then approve where your top sits on it.

A three-metre top is carried on edge by four people. If it will not fit, we say so and suggest a two-piece top with a matched joint.
Crated and cleared at a port or partner warehouse. You arrange the last leg.
Delivered to the kerb at your address. Unloading equipment is quoted per address.
Carried in by a two- or four-person team after an access check.
Base fixed, top set and levelled. Fixed installation only where a local partner covers it.

Marble lives with you.
Calacatta Viola is a marble. Lemon, wine and vinegar can etch a polished surface within minutes; sealing slows staining but does not stop etching. Use coasters, wipe spills, clean with pH-neutral soap.
Honed and leathered finishes show etching less. Etch marks on honed marble can usually be refinished locally. A care sheet ships with every piece.
