Start with the fittings and the space below.
Sculptural stone, with practical decisions for the bathroom. Bring a room photo, a sketch or an existing drawing. The purpose of the first conversation is to turn the visual direction into dimensions, materials and a clear scope.
- Basin dimensions, countertop height and a plan of the bathroom.
- Tap and waste model numbers, with their technical drawings.
- Tap position, outlet projection, drain and overflow requirements.
- Access for the trap, valves, cleaning and future maintenance.

Agree the whole assembly.
A reference image communicates the feeling of a piece; it does not define its construction. Identify the visible stone faces, any joints, the backing or support, and how the piece meets the room. Keep the final dimensions and fitting positions on the same drawing.
Ask for a material sample and the actual slab information before approval. Confirm who measures on site, who prepares the supporting surfaces, and who installs and checks the finished assembly. These responsibilities belong in the project scope.
Before you approve.
Can the reference be adapted to my room?
Send the dimensions and the features you want to retain. Material availability, the proposed construction and site conditions need to be reviewed before the design is agreed.
What should the approval drawing show?
Overall and individual part dimensions, material and finish, exposed edges, joints, support interfaces and fitting positions. It should carry a revision and date so everyone is using the same information.
What is needed for delivery planning?
Destination postcode, site access, available lifting arrangements and the party responsible for unloading and installation. Ask for packing dimensions and weights before confirming the route.
Bring a reference. We will help clarify the brief.
